B.Sc. (Nursing)
B.Sc. (Nursing) is a four-year professional programme that stands for Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The popularity of the nursing profession has risen to an all-time high as a result of recent events. Nurses are regarded as the hospital’s and patient care’s backbone. Undergraduate nursing education is the first step in achieving one’s aim of becoming a nurse.
ELIGIBILITY
Nursing applicants, like those applying for any other undergraduate course, must adhere to the B.Sc (Nursing) entrance 2022 requirements. The qualifying requirements for B.Sc (Nursing) admissions in India in 2022 are shown below :
- The candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age for B.Sc (Nursing) admission 2022 to apply for B.Sc (Nursing) admission.
- The maximum age limit is 35 years for B.Sc (Nursing) admission.
- Candidates should have passed class 12 with Physics, Biology, English and Chemistry as mandatory subjects to apply for B.Sc (Nursing) admission.
- Candidates should fulfill the cut-off requirement in the qualifying entrance exam for B.Sc (Nursing) admission.
- There are entrance exams like Indian Army B.Sc (Nursing) which only accepts applications from female.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The process for BSc nursing admission 2022 follows the various steps mentioned below:
- Sc (Nursing) Application : Nursing aspirants first have to begin with an online/ offline application.
- Issue of Admit Cards : After the successful submission of application forms, the applicants need to downloded the admit cards to appear in the exam.
- Appear for the Entrance Exam : It is necessary to appear for the entrance exam.
- Result Announcement : After the successful conclusion of the entrance the competent authority will release the result based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam.
- Release of Cut off List : The conducting body after releasing the result will release the cut off list, which is the minimum qualifying marks and candidates have to fulfil the requirement of complying with the cut off to secure B.Sc (Nursing) admission.
- Counselling : Based on the merit list, the counselling process for B.Sc (Nursing) will be conducted.
- Seat Allotment : On the basis of counselling and the candidates’ score they will be allotted seats to their choice of colleges.
- Reporting to the College: After seat allotment, candidates have to report at the institutes to further the admission process.
CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE OF THE TRAINEES
- Students are responsible to the Principal for their behaviour, both in and outside the campus.
- Students should maintain silence in the classes, library, reading room and in the corridors.
- Use of cell phone is strictly prohibited in the classrooms.
- Student should make every effort to take care of the college and hospital property and help in maintaining the same. They should not write on the black board, nor scribble on tables, chairs and walls.
- Any willful damage done to the property of the college and hospital will be treated as breach of discipline.
- If a student is in need to get leave from the college or hospital in the middle of the day, for any emergency, he/she should get sanction from the class coordinator and a letter to that effect must be produced from the parent or guardian.
- Students are required to abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the University, College, Hospital and Hostel authorities.
- Violating the rules will be dealt with disciplinary action according to the discretion of the college authorities and if necessary dismissal from the college may be considered depending upon the seriousness of the violation.
- Students are required to maintain ethical and professional standards in behaviour both in and outside the college, hospital, hostel and community premises.
- All decisions taken by the Principal are final and binding on the students.
- Parents / guardians are advised to meet the Principal as and when called for.
- Both the parents and guardians are required to furnish their specimen signatures in the presence of class teacher at the beginning of every academic year.
- Rules are subject to change from time to time.
- Ragging is totally banned within or outside the Institution. Ragging is a criminal offense as per Supreme Court and the Central/State Government Directives. Anyone found guilty on curbing the menace of ragging in Higher Educational Institutions,2009.
